When I was a little girl, I dreamed of being an artist or an author. So, I made art and I wrote stories.

In my mid-twenties, I went to university to make more art and write more stories.

In my thirties, I wrote novels and children’s books and pursued a Masters in Illustration to expand my understanding of storytelling outside of the written word. In my studies, I excelled in authorial practice and the development of stories, leading to my final major project: a fifty-thousand word illustrated middle-grade novel.

After writing and self-editing my fourth novel, I discovered a deep passion for editing and began working with other authors to edit their stories. Recently, I expanded my education with some CPD training, to qualify as a Copy Editor and Proofreader.

Literature is my passion and in my world of art and stories I am truly living my little-girl-dream. I simply love helping other authors to shape the best version of their story, ready for the world to enjoy. I have been very lucky recently to work with talented authors who inspire and delight me.

I founded Lines and Curves Literary to officially open my editorial doors to new clients to help them realise their literary dreams too.
